      Pros

      Good start for first few years to learn some tech and get a big-company name on your CV but then move on somewhere more dynamic. Starting salary is good but no chance of progression - almost all employees kept on same base salary.

      Cons

      Despite being worked to death, extremely limited possibilities for career and salary progression. You work all hours and also evenings and weekends - at the end someone might tell you 'Thanks' but that's it - all soon forgotten and you'll be working around the clock on the next project. Upper management in business and HR totally useless at managing their people - you're on your own here.

      Pros

      Company is a leader in semiconductor tech which makes for interesting products and thought leadership, like the internet of things. Marketing team is top-notch, and has worldwide presence, which makes for some interesting co-worker relationships. Work environment is down to earth, casual, and engaging. Lots of cross departmental collaboration.

      Cons

      The sheer size of the corporation means that things can move slowly, but at the same time the marketing team has been downsized a lot over the past year, so the workload can sometimes be overwhelming.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits package, great bonus programs, stock refreshers, small employee portion for medical benefits, gym/health sports reimbursement program, lots of travel for many, work from home environment, friendly co-workers and management, a lot of very smart people with exceptional backgrounds. Many promotions and internal rewards and recognition.

      Cons

      the unknown of Qualcomm merger, but all remain positive. Many of us understand the semiconductor industry, and know these things happen.
