      NXP bought Freescale. It's not the same. It was a great working environment with a great CEO.

      Pros

      Great pay, great benefits, community oriented. Gym on site and also reimbursed membership elsewhere. Ours a great place for the seasoned engineer. they also file H1b and green card

      Cons

      New culture. Bonuses went down. No longer doing their rotational program. It was a pull factor for many engineers. Since it bought NXP, jobs are at stake and nothing is for sure.

      Pros

      relative good work and life balance, less aggressive compared to my previous company, colleagues respect your right to take holiday; use to have R&D center for doing fun research, but it is changing now.

      less opportunity for engineer to growth in both salary and job title;
