NXP knows that, and many NXP employees, although unhappy with a whole range of policies (such that 30 percent of the people in any group need to get a negative appraisal at the end of any given year "forced distribution" / all the bonus money goes to the higher grades / poort office and poor IT environment / many projects start late have few people and early deadlines ) have nowhere else to go and stay

Unstable upper management seems to be out for themselves. They enjoy extra bonuses while telling everyone else why they have to tighten their belts. Hard to make it to retirement without getting eliminated. Best be looking for another place by the time you're in your mid-40's and still employable, or be able to retire before age 59.
