I’ve had a very positive experience working at NYSS. One of the things that stands out most is the people; my team and coworkers are highly engaged, motivated, and genuinely collaborative. Always working together to find solutions. There’s a strong sense that everyone is working toward common goals and willing to support each other along the way. The company offers fair compensation, a great benefits package, and has built a healthy, positive culture that I truly appreciate.
Leadership is another major strength. From the CEO, CRO, COO, CTO, and across the leadership team, there is a clear level of passion and commitment to the company and its people. They are resilient, effective, communicative, and willing to navigate challenges head-on. It's refreshing to work with leaders who are so invested in the success of the organization and the people behind it.
Overall, NYSS has been a great place to work, surrounded by talented people and a leadership team that genuinely cares about what they are building.
Cons
The pace can definitely be demanding, and priorities can shift pretty quickly as the company navigates the industry's challenges and the market evolves. There’s still room to improve some processes and communication across teams, especially as the business continues to grow. That said, a lot of this comes with scaling a company, and I’ve seen a genuine willingness to recognize what’s not working and make improvements.
