Pros

Pretty much your are your own - no coworkers. One may be issued a van - not for PTers. Can be creative at times.

Cons

From my experience: you will not have all equipment/tools needed. You will not be trained properly. Unrealistic expectations for machines almost as old as you are. Inappropriate conversations and actions from management. You will have futile paperwork to do. You may have an audience when your employment review comes up. No benefits for PTers. You are a technician, however you do not get the title nor pay, in fact, the pay is poor for all that is required. Not a loyal company to their employees. Job eliminations and firings are very common - maybe 2 times a year. Sadly, you don't them cleaning up middle management much.

Pros

PTO and sick time availability.

Cons

Traffic is horrible in most areas. Territory Manager expectations don't match the companies. Frequent bad mouthing of employees done by the manager. Lack of communication. Insufficient training for some positions. Micro management off the charts. Overtime is not allowed even if they say it might happen in the job description it is NEVER approved.
