I have a great group of co-workers.

Cons

Everything. Management is clueless. Byron Storm, the CEO, is clueless. It is like a giant convention of senior level incompetence. They give you these arbitrary and unrealistic numbers to make, then don't give you the tools to make it. No one ever fixes a problem, they just put a band aid fix on it and leave it there forever. They tell you to take ownership, but give you no authority to make desicions. Basically it's meant to screw the little guy so management can CYA.

- Company is building a great culture in which every employee can make a difference - Leadership teams are working hard and rolling up their sleeves and treating employees with respect - Company is very transparent about the vision and strategy - Employees at every level are encouraged to challenge the status quo to help build a winning organization - Compensation and benefits are very competitive when many company's are cutting back - Communication lines are very open all the way to executive leadership

Cons

- Not really a con, but to work here you need to be flexible, adaptable, and execute efficiently to take the company to new heights.

Pros

Very friendly and hard-working co-workers. Many of whom are very loyal to the company through the ups and downs that they have been through over the years with GMAC/NGIC.

Cons

Difficult to put into words, but I just did not get a good feeling about working for this organization. I wanted to be proud of where I work, and I did not trust what management told the employees, agencies or policy holders that they interacted with. Not only would I not want friends or family to work here, but I would certainly not recommend them as a company to do business with.
