Very Supportive while going to school.

Pros

GMAC was very support while I was going to school. Also, it was not as strict on the tardies as other call centers. They discussed patterns of tardiness.

Cons

Opportunities for advancement were limited. A fifty cent raise would have taken me forever to make better money.

Not the same company it once was

Pros

During the GM and GMAC days, the benefits package was unusually good. Under new ownership, it's fair. Hours are reasonable, location of job is good.

Cons

Lack of communication between new owners and old HQ in Winston-Salem. No job security, much bloodletting. And making employees pay for their own coffee and even parking? C'mon (though in fairness, this did not originate with the new owners).
