Pros

This is honestly an easy sales position for beginners. You basically follow the same simple script for every customer and it works! PTO is amazing! 4 weeks PTO a year with the ability to purchase an extra week. Management is very supportive and understanding for the most part.

Cons

Schedule is based on seniority and performance. Expect an awkward evening schedule for the first 6 months or so. Wish the health benefits were better but you can't beat free(in most situations)! Although an easy sales job, I prefer more challenging work. I get bored or repetitiveness and dealing with the same type of people for majority of the day. This is a second chance insurance company so you get people with bad credit/poor driving history you have high rates and low wages. All of that equals not having the most pleasant conversations throughout the day. Can weigh on your mental health at times. Also, they take a while to train you on the different products they offer. It will be a good 4-6 months before you hit some really sales commissions.
