Pros

Great life/work balance with exceptional benefits.

Cons

Getting things done can be a slow process as with many government projects, but that is OK.

Good Place to Work

Business Outlook

Pros

Great physical space. Normally IC work is done in dark rooms, but NGA is large, open and bright which has a significant impact on mental health. Also my leadership team was open and communicate about tasks, priorities, and helping maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Cons

Since it is government, sometimes there's lots of wait times in terms of funding and funding requests, along with lots of stress surrounding all the regulations and guidances on how things can get done that kills productivity and focusing on the job.
