Pros

Frankly, very few pros unless you are the type of person who eats up the BS senior officials spew on a daily basis about core values and teamwork. The NCE building is interesting and impressive on the first day until you realize it's juat a glorified ant farm. I would say maybe the gym when it's not over crowded which is almost never.

Cons

I was a govie and contractor here for years. Avoid at all costs unless you are able to get lucky and be hired at a PB4 or higher initially. They treat contractors like second hand citizens and many govies fit the stereotype of fraud, waste, and abuse associated with fed employees. The seniors here get promoted through the buddy system despite a supposed process in place that prohibits that. Most of them are empty suits with 0 subject matter expertise but all the training and education in the world they were able to get on your dime. They also talk a good game about core values and diversity often at the expense of focusing on important things like being hmmm I don't know a COMBAT SUPPORT AGENCY maybe? The security teams here are even worse often going after the small guy to justify their existence. Seniors just get shuffled for similar or way worse infractions. If you're looking to contribute to a real spy mission look elsewhere like CIA. If you're looking to work at a wannabe Google inhabitited by whiney brats who spend more time on line at Star Bucks than their desk this is your jam.
