Pros

Great jobs for attorneys at all levels. The pay is a bit higher than most comparable federal positions. Most importantly, the office is loaded without outstanding supervisors, leaders and line attorneys. The grass is very green at NGA OGC.

Cons

The traffic in the area can be heavy at times depending on where you live. Also, once you are in the building, it pays to just stay there to eat in one of the good eaters at the cafeteria or bring your lunch. It's too much of a hassle to leave the building and come back as nothing is really close.

Pros

Mission oriented, skill development, chance to engage in collaborations.

Cons

Micro management, terrible leadership, no work life balance, bad pay, the agency doesn't get rid of bad managers/leadership, promotion process is awful.
