Pros

A rich culture of diversity here at National Grid where you are encouraged to bring your whole self to work. The safety culture is topnotch and your well being is taken into consideration. Flexible and hybrid working style being practiced helps to promote a healthy work/life balance. Everyone is always willing to assist you succeed in your role. Salary wise, it competes with other top players in the industry and there are lots of Employee benefit schemes put in place. The Graduate scheme should be the best in the industry because of the quality and amount of investments the company put into each graduate. Graduates are thrown into a pool of opportunities to gain knowledge, further their career and carry out volunteering activities.

Cons

Though, it's a company that promotes diversity and employs lots of immigrants, sadly, they do not pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) which some other companies do.
