Pros

Occasional travel. You're able to leave the job at the office. I never had to take any work home or work on the weekends unless on storm duty.

Cons

Management was very untrustworthy and stuck in their ways. Culture was nonexistent which made the days seem extremely long. Management also micromanaged. Employees who had worked there from 10 + years were able to get away with quite a bit - including sexual harassment and highly inappropriate conversation. I didn't feel comfortable reporting such behavior and when I finally did, I was brushed aside as being too sensitive and such behavior was described to me as "acceptable locker room talk."
