Great place to work

Pros

It is genuinely a great place to work/ The company actually cares about the wellbeing of their staff

Cons

The processes and systems can be cumbersome and bulky. It can be very hierarchical with multiple approval loops to get things done. This can slow things down. This is not uncommon in a company the size of National Grid

Pros

Culture at the company is positive. Focus on your development

Cons

In some areas there are far too many managers. Pay is fairly average and being visible can be rewarded more than being good.

Pros

Interesting work and people - great place

Cons

Pay could be a tad better for London but pension and holidays make up for that and work/life balance
