Pros

Great for long term career. Wide range of opportunity of doing different things. People have a lot time to explain what they do to you. Life work balance is good as you might expected from a monopoly utility company.

Cons

Can be a bit stuck in its own way of thinking. It is not very clear how success look like. You do get insight but the skills are largely not transferable outside of the organisation.
