Pros

The company takes it's infrastructure very seriously and the move to update our electric infrastructure is a great idea. Overall, it's a great place to work.

Cons

I've been here for almost 3 years and I can say there isn't really any cons so far.

Pros

The company allows you to work flexibly. There are multiple opportunities for self-development, incliding enrolling on courses related to your role and/or interests. It is possible to move to another team/department if you express interest in the work they do and are capable/in a similar role. Some managers are genuinely fantastic, capable of leading by example, appreciate that you get results by respecting the abilities and expertise of their individual team members, and masterfully create a positive and healthy work environment that encourages the team to collaborate and develop, to the benefit of both the individual and the company. There is high diversity, although the amount that are not in more senior leadership positions is questionable.

Cons

Depending on who your manager is, you are overloaded with work, which is in direct contrast to this company's supposed regard for staff well being.This also causes certain individuals in other teams to use this as an excuse to completely ignore communication from colleagues, leading to poor work relationships and lack of collaboration, but are never challenged if this is raised as an issue. Far too many people of a certain advantageous demographic are in management roles, yet lack the credentials to be a manager, let alone a leader, or don't even know the basics required for the role they are in, making the real reason they were selected for the role highly evident. Certain people in management micromanage to compensate for their lack of ability leading to unnecessary stress for those who are unfortunate enough to be chosen for a project led by them. Unrealistic timeframes to deliver results are dictated by individuals in management who ironically have less experience than who they manage, yet still refuse to appreciate the very real challenges that cannot be solved instantly, such as data of poor quality. This same management refuse to solve the issues themselves, yet won't provide the courtesy of time and patience for staff to implement intelligent workarounds but still expect high quality results. Depending on who your manager is, you will be expected to take on work that is nothing to do with your role and not given the training required, leading to frustration and a lack of job satisfaction, being set up to fail, and have your skills and experience undermined.
