Pros

Great work environment, company is engaged in the community. NI creates software and hardware that contribute to achieving great things in the world (in terms of health, technology, education, etc.), so you definitely feel like you contribute to something useful. Folks at NI are bright and you definitely learn a lot.

Cons

Salaries are on the low-end. Company bonus was insignificant this year.

Pros

Leadership models, freedom to create and make thing new. International experiences and opportunities to work alongside other people in different countries. Many benefits noticed by customers everyday.

Cons

The same freedom that is good sometimes makes thing harder, specially when taking decisions in group. It is necessary to continuously reeducate people motivations according to company culture.

Pros

NI has a great work culture at the Austin, TX HQ. The work-life balance is top-notch! The Applications Engineering / Engineering Leadership Program is truly a great place to begin a professional career - there are many opportunities for advanced projects and learning new skills if you take advantage of them.

Cons

NI does pay less than comparable companies for the equivalent job. This is somewhat offset by the exceptional culture at NI Austin. Overall NI is a great company!
