You want to learn a new skill or take on training the opportunities are there. The lunch program's pretty good overall, worth the money certainly. From my perspective, the company goes out of it's way to provide fun "perks" to it's employees to reward us for our work. Things like tickets to pro sports games, or fully funded holiday parties or the little things like the social events.

My supervisors are supportive and work well to accommodate scheduling issues. Is it always perfect? No, but overall I've had a positive interaction with mid-level management. I enjoy what I do and I enjoy the people I work with. I travel 40-50% of the time which has its perks and its costs. If I travel to a cool destination, my supervisor is typically cool if I want to take some PTO and spend an extra day or two there or if I want to spend a weekend there. The lunch program is nice, I'm just not around enough to justify using it.
