Pros

Lots of resources and attention are being put into marketing and branding.

Cons

Actuaries are not valued - very obviously, as the CEO jokes about actuaries habitually, e.g., at three out of four of the most recent townhalls.

Not only are actuaries valued, their contributions are critical to our business! We appreciate all our actuarial team is doing to help us grow with purpose.

Pros

Growing company and lots of transformation in progress

Cons

Heavy political culture and poor delegation. Leadership is overbearing and over powering. Not an easy place to work for new beginner

Pros

The cons outweigh any pros

Cons

Don’t let their lip service fool you. They talk about being good and doing good, but disrespectful behavior is pervasive. When concerns are expressed, the employee experiencing the behavior is told they are allowing others to make them feel poorly. In other words, suck it up. HR is fully aware of the circumstances but the bullies and leaders continue to allow it to happen. Departments also do little to protect their customers private information. Computers are constantly left unlocked when employees walk away from their desks. If you want to work with a company that has a conscience, this isn’t your place.
