Pros

The National Restaurant Association is growing and will only get better. The office is beautiful and inviting. The benefits are the best around. New leadership in place is working hard to bring in fresh and innovative ideas to make the organization better. The CAO and the CEO/President care about the organization and the employees. Changes have been made and organizational changes may not always be pleasant but at times necessary to help a company move in a direction of growth and to keep up with its competitors.

Cons

Some internal employees are very negative especially concerning changes that any organization goes through. Change is inevitable. I think a few employees have been allowed to work in a nonproductive fashion for so long that when changes were made and they had to be accountable for their work, they were like a deer caught in headlights.

Pros

Good compensation & great benefits. Top management does a good job of proactively addressing the company culture and employee satisfaction. The hospitality industry is also fun place to be.

Cons

Slightly disparate expectations and output between offices. Some tools and support are a little clunky. Company-wide communication is still being polished. Processes and oversight sometimes compromise agility.
