Don't stay in Security ....

Pros

Wide range of jobs to choose from; Can trust people around you; Everyone outside Security is nice

Cons

If you stay in Security, unless you are one of the "chosen ones," you will never get promoted or a job you are trying to get. Half of the Team Leads know less than the employees and instead of learning from them, they target them as threats. Other Organizations are so much better.

Pros

The first and the only reason was that I could help my country in my native language analysis which they had a great need at that time.

Cons

Besides the decrease in their need The distance to travel to my job and stay there for three nights a week was getting too much.

NSA (National Security Agency) Review

Pros

Working for a government agency such as NSA is considered a plumb assignment. The organization is big and diverse. There are so many different kinds of jobs that someone with great technical skills can choose just about anything they want to do. The pay and benefits are better than many private sector companies. They have many employee-friendly programs.

Cons

There are almost no negatives to working at NSA. The only thing I can think of is that getting a promotion is difficult and competitive. However, if you exceed expectations at your position, you should not have a problem moving up the chain.
