Pros

Job Security. Flexible schedule and flexible hours. Can move around within the company. Interesting mission.

Cons

Unfortunately there is extreme favoritism , unfairness, and verbal abuse. If you are a hardworking, conscientious employee you will see things that are very inappropriate. The horrible part is senior leadership ignores what is going on and acts as if everything is okay. As an employee who just wanted to go in to work and do the best job possible (keeping my head down and doing the work right), sadly, you get targeted. I know this is a review and you don't know me at all, but I promise I am not an employee who has issues or starts trouble. Promotions are fought upon based on accomplishment and not performance (in which your supervisor decides who gets what tasking, essentially choosing who gets the best accomplishments). I feel I could write a book about how people are put in managerial positions, do things that are inappropriate, and then remain as managers because no one takes action to correct them. It is nearly impossible to get fired after you complete your probation period. If you are a lazy person who prefers gossiping all day instead of working, throwing others under the bus, kissing up to management, and don't care how you are treated as a person then please go right ahead and apply because you'll fit right in and be happy there.

Toxic Leader in J1

Pros

The overall agency is a great facility overall. Many nice areas for employees.

Cons

Unfortunately, I worked for a terrible manager of people. Toxic leadership like this should be addressed and eliminated. The turnover is unbelievable because of one person. This could be a great place to work but until something changes it won't be.
