Pros

Lots of interesting clients, never boring, never the same day. Challenges a person to be good at interpersonal relationships. Opportunities are present for advancement for someone willing to put effort into it.

Cons

Working with court-ordered clients is always a challenge, sometimes the dynamics of the inter-agency relationships make it difficult to do right by the client, and there are sometimes heart-breaking failures of the system.
