A good company with a lot of change

Pros

I firmly believe that Nationwide is a good company that cares about their associates. I think the pay (when hired in, not promoted) is commensurate with the industry. Good leadership with high visibility. The company seems very open to people moving around.

Cons

The company is undergoing tons of change right now. Senior leaders are leaving left and right for new opportunities. These two things have caused a bit of trepidation in the company as a whole. There is constant fear of another reorganization or job security.

Pros

The company does try to give a work / life balance. If your position is eliminated, they will give you 2 months paid to find a different position in the company.

Cons

Benefits and pay are below Columbus average. Yearly raises are very minimum.
