Pros

Great coworkers, and the downtown location

Cons

Salaried workers with years of experience are made to stay late to get the job done. Multiple roles are now being put on the shoulders of the Bodily Injury Dept claims reps. Slashing jobs. No room for advancement.

Pros

Great CO workers, relaxed environment, okay pay, work from home 2 days a week.

Cons

Where to even begin... this is known as either a “insurance puppy mill” or “claims sweat shop”. I’m sure there are others but that’s what I heard. The workload is so unbearable, you get about 10 new claims on Monday and fridays and sometimes during the week. Then about 6 or 7 other days. Don’t forget the other 60-100 claims you already have to work on. This job is almost equivalent to a call center. Managers listen in on calls and will sit with you while you take calls to make sure you’re doing good. Oh, don’t forget the accountability boards. Managers post everyone’s numbers up on the board on your team and you have DAILY meetings to go over those numbers. Don’t have the lowest numbers because you’ll be completely embarrassed during these meetings. If you are actually one of the lucky few doing a decent job, watch out, they will make you take on the workload of those that can’t keep up....

Pros

Pay is not bad. 401-K match is good.

Cons

Very micro managed work environment. One yearly goal is to do more with less! No consistency within the management teams. Long time employees treated like rookies. They can talk the talk but can't seem to walk the walk. They place no value in there employees and have no qualms about pushing one out the door.
