Change needed but poorly managed

Pros

Time off is respected/valued. Work/life balance is emphasized in certain teams (but not consistent across finance teams).

Cons

Every day is a fire drill. No clear vision for transformation. New R&A Hub team services too many teams, and everything is a priority with no thought about the capacity of the hub to deliver. Actuarial talent is elevated from FP&A, in leveling, compensation, career opportunities, as well as with analytical analysis.

Pros

Great work/life balance, average pay, the individual people are awesome.

Cons

A bit of a clique-y culture, values the collective over individual needs, it’s very hard to progress in your position and progressive values without considering that the conservative perspective is leading the country. You can feel invisible at times if you’re not in the “in-crowd” or seek to be.
