      Interesting work and smart people

      Cons

      Very slow to change and adapt new technologies in order to foster a more efficient way to do business. Too much red tape, too many redundant processes , too few willing to people making decisions .

      Pros

      I loved working as a civilian engineer / program manager for this organization. I worked with some incredibly smart people who really cared about the mission.

      Cons

      Working for an organization as large as the DoD brings with it bureaucracy and politics, but none of it negatively affected me.
