Pros

I wish I could present a more balanced view...but the pros are just overwhelmed by all the cons...

Cons

There are so many...it's hard to know where to start. But when the culture is that toxic, leadership that poor, priorities so scrambled, employee satisfaction so low (just look at the other reviews)...someone needs to take accountability. Rather than the CEO saying "if you don't like it just leave" (yes this is said over and over again), maybe it's time for HIM to go. Just look at the rest of the "leadership" team, and I use that term loosely, and you'll see no one stands up to him, and they have all adapted his philosophy - "the product sells itself". And if it's not being sold, or there isn't enough demand, or it's too hard to adopt, or support is subpar, it MUST be the fault of the front line team - the people who actually do the work and face real life issues. The pathetic part is that the leaders of these functions don't stand up to the CEO. Who knows why these supposed senior and successful leaders don't stand up (maybe because they have been given huge compensation packages). And it would be different if this level of micromanagement and scrutiny was ACTUALLY effective - but it's not. It's all about putting up a show, politics, and unproductive activity - and not about results and outcomes. At what point does the accountability fall on the CEO? How many more glassdoor reviews have to be written before you stop pointing the finger at everyone else?

Pros

Other than some of the perks, I will be truthful and say there’s not a lot of pros. I’m thankful for the experience and learned a lot of what not to do or take with me to my next employer.

Cons

Where to start! I had never planned to post anything here about TA, however almost a year later after they let go 350+ people, including myself, someone with a Director title sends me an email, to my personal email, asking for help/insight of my current employer to sell their product. I feel this is extremely unprofessional and shows truly how heartless this company can be. While working there the HQ always treated the staff in other offices like garbage. Never offered real support or made our office feel like it really belonged with the rest of the company. The “politics” involved are no joke. It’s a culture of who likes you and no growth if they don’t. While I worked there I poured everything I had to make our office fun, exciting and someplace you wanted to clock in. With empty promises and backstabbing from management and fellow coworkers it continued to become a very toxic place to work. It does make me laugh a little to see all these “amazing news” posts on LinkedIn knowing they beg employees to re-share and post these things to make it look as though everything is great when current employees continue tell me how bad it continues to get. Very thankful I no longer work there!

Pros

- International and diverse colleagues except for upper management. - The product is good enough and the competition are terrible.

Cons

There’s a reason for all the terrible reviews and scores. The. company burn through people and cause burnouts at an alarming rate. There’s lots of promises but in reality, they do everything to keep the salaries and stock options below minimum. Read your contract very very carefully as you probably won’t get most of the benefits they promised. You may get lucky with a stable team, clear product vision, or a decent manager but don’t count on it. The epidemic only accelerated their demise. Product are pressured to give guestimatsions that engineers have to execute or get bad reviews. There’s no product or engineering culture. It’s all sales driven.
