Cons

Pros

- small company with smart workforce and young leaders - flat organization means CEO, CFO, VPs sit right next to you - language and analytical skills used daily by all and sponsored - 401K matching, competitive medical, commuter benefits - great hours, as long as the work gets done you get your flex-friday - flexibility to work from home or from Colorado or Europe if necessary - mix of think tank with hands on learning and public policy - stimulating work that after three to five years, sets you up for international Gigs/USAID/State - promotes publishing and sponsors international conference attendance - various direct customer interaction including presentation - direct impact on customer policy, deliverables and direction of the company

Cons

- company hit a rough patch in 2014 with the loss of two contracts - management tried to keep as many as possible, but the government is the client - company management was reduced to minimum, but got better in 2016 - lingering resentment from staff due to 2014 triage - small company means there is no safety net, when it rains it pours
