Pros

Good cafe downstairs and near the train station

Cons

When I left, there was a significant outstanding bonus due to be paid to me, despite promises, I only received roughly 15% of it, a month late after chasing and when I questioned them, they ignored me completely and haven't contacted me since. Also, they have been funny with paying bonus late with other employees who worked with me at the time. I was paid less than all employees when I joined regardless of experience, but I was the youngest and a 'pay rise' happened which just moved me from minimum wage to the new minimum wage, while actively advertising trainee roles (below my role) for more basic salary than I was on. They use the word 'Fast-Track' which is a good scheme, however when you meet the targets they set for you, all of sudden they say they were not agreed and they get moved up so you don't get the increase in salary. There is also extreme pressure with targets from a very early stage and it only get worse the more you work there. I was also told new trainees were being told I had no qualifications, which could of been in a jokey way, however It's an absolute complete lie and I did not appreciate it. Total lack of credit for what you do, Lack of appreciation, severe favouritism towards certain employees. Expect contact out of hours, I was repeatedly rang at 6am for a week whilst my boss was away and also on most Sundays. Worst work-life balance I've ever had. Do not trust anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear that your time with us left you feeling disappointed and undervalued, that’s not the experience we want for anyone within the business. We take the concerns you've raised seriously, particularly around bonus payments, fairness in pay and how performance milestones are communicated and handled. We are actively reviewing our internal processes to ensure that commitments made to employees are transparent, timely, and consistent. We also deeply regret if you ever felt disrespected or unfairly treated. Comments that undermine someone's qualifications, even if made in jest, are not appropriate and do not reflect the inclusive culture we strive to build. Similarly, expectations around work-life boundaries must be clear and respectful contacting team members outside of reasonable hours is not something we condone, and we will continue working to reinforce those boundaries company-wide. While we can’t change your past experience, your feedback will be shared with senior leadership as part of our commitment to creating a fair, respectful, and supportive workplace. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours and thank you again for your honesty.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re really pleased to hear that you’ve found the training, team support, and earning potential valuable in your experience with us. You’re absolutely right: recruitment is hard work, and we aim to be upfront about that from the very beginning. It’s not for everyone, but for those who embrace the challenge, it can be incredibly rewarding. We're glad to see you're facing it head-on with the right support behind you.
