Bureaucratic company. Too many boneheads promoted based in seniority. No communications among teams, duplication of efforts, and terrible loss of resources. To get a 20 dollar part sometimes you they require a written document.

Since it is a relatively large company there is a certain degree of bureaucracy. Also, the Peter Principle definitely applies -- people are promoted until they are unable to do their job. Instead of people being promoted solely based on their abilities, some people who have been at the company for many years are promoted beacuse of their seniority as opposed to their qualifications to be in management.
