Pros

There is an earnest effort to operate using the Code of Values. It is a company full of humans, so sometimes the effort falls short. But the effort is there.

Cons

It is a company that started as a small, family business. So, there is a tension nowadays between what the company USED to be and what it is trying to become. Often times the employees pay the price in the endeavor to establish a new corporate identity.

Pros

Neighborly has always let me expand my skills and use them to advance within the company Leadership has allowed me to manage my department/business unit with no micromanaging Growth is always a goal so it is very exciting to work with small business owners and help them achieve their goals and dreams. Very rewarding Culture - Code of values is truly followed. No company always does the right thing but how they handle hard situations is what is important.

Cons

The business has changed a lot in the 20+ years i have been involved and sometimes change is hard. The results of the change has been amazing as we are providing a much better product to our franchise owners and our ultimate customer the consumer of our services.

Pros

Neighborly has positions available for team members at various skill levels with an opportunity to grow based on your desire to learn and grow. You work with independently owned and operated franchise locations, and you get to be a part of their business and personal development and growth - and in turn you grow in experience as well. Many former franchise owners work for the Neighborly headquarters, and many former headquarters team members have become franchisees.

Cons

There are times when you may have a lot of travel to site visits and meetings, but most of that is self managed.
