      Easy work, good people

      Pros

      Work culture is pretty nice besides the higher-ups. You get to work with other departments so you're not just bound to yours. Easy job. Direct supervisors and coworkers tend to be very transparent and chill.

      Cons

      Boring work. Higher-ups are insufferable. Lots of out-of-date equipment. Pay is nowhere near what it should be. After 3 months through a temp agency, I didn't get a raise once hired in.

      Pros

      The benefits are nice and are relatively inexpensive, 120 hours of pto out the gate past 61 days of official employment, floating holidays(days chosen at your discretion), it's hard to be fired without deliberately trying to.

      Cons

      The management structure is very ridged and cold to the majority of the work force. The president has (rumor) stated that "pur employees don't deserve to make more money." and climbing the ranks is often seen in the lower classifications of jobs as an impossible task without giving "favors" to the person above you or being their drinking buddy. The raises vs the responsibilities structure tends to be held close to the vest by management or not worth the extra hassle for a 50 cent raise and promotion from one classification to another.

      Great people to work with and you are doing something that matters

      Cons

      Not very much upward movement and both starting pay and raises make it a difficult job to commute for. This is why turn over remains high and it is views as a stepping stone.
