      Neptune Technology is not a place to work if you have an option. It is run very unprofessionally!

      Pros

      Not many pros as it's usually a job you take when you can't take other jobs at the moment. Informal work environment.

      Cons

      Divide between front level and management. Disorganized, new hires train new hires, management favours and very unprofessional. State morning hours then make you work evening hours. Some staff work but some staff do little to nothing. Don't recommend for anybody unless you desperately need a job. This place is like going back to secondary school. Little room to advance unless you are a manager. Unprofessional managers. Simple responsibilities but managers make it sophisticated. Small company run like a secondary school. Not recommended whatsoever!

      Pros

      Making the move to Neptune is the best decision I could have made for my career. GREAT group of people who are willing to help and support new employees. Stable company. Good benefit package. Lots of employee events throughout the year.

      Cons

      Neptune is located in a smaller town, but it is easily accessible and has less traffic, which is a plus.

      Pros

      Stable Company. Younger Coworkers are good people. Good job security. They don't like firing people. They're technology stack is improving due to new people in the company pushing for better tools.

      Cons

      Lack of upward mobility Micro managing Software Development Directory who makes bad technology decisions. Below average salary Treats Engineers like factory workers. Tallassee, AL is a hole of a town. Attrition in Software is high due to management. Many people would leave if there were more opportunities in the area. As with most larger companies they have NO idea how to schedule projects.
