Pros

The benefits at NetApp are great and keep getting better every year.

Cons

Unfortunately the growth in this company is limited. The company itself is growing but they are not promoting their employees. Upper management do not support their direct reports nor do they care to learn about the culture or their colleagues when they are hired from outside the company. The lack of communication is disturbing as is the understanding of what actually goes on at the lower levels. The CEO has made political comments during his "All Hands" which are offensive to those who support their government leaders no matter who they are. The excuse that it is a California company is just that, an excuse. No one is taking the time to change and advance this company outside NetApp Inc.

Pros

The culture is truly amazing- so many genuine people that truly want to help you out. People that have worked here for 5, 10, 15+ years and aren't going anywhere really reveals a strong foundation of loyalty. That is not easy to find. - Benefits are great - encouragement of work/life balance -great management/leadership across the board. - Mission driven - NetApp is partnered up with Rise Against Hunger and makes this a huge focus, providing volunteer opportunities and a certain amount of VTO days per year. - Revitalizing the NetApp story has transformed the business. We are no longer just a storage company- we are managing your data wherever you want to store it- many opportunities for customers that want to go to the cloud.

Cons

-There have been some recent leadership changes, majority for the good, but with change can bring upheaval - some processes aren't as smooth as they could be
