      1. flexible timings 2. average salary

      1. Horrible politics. 2. teams keep fighting with each other for work and job security. 3. people even design systems keeping job security in mind! what a product company! 4. mgmt never tries to keep the domain and scope of teams separate. 5. usa conf calls are always at night india time, no respect for indians 6. it is gradually becoming managers'company, no more a tech company.

      NetApp is a great company but Senior IT leadership leaves a lot to be desired!

      Pros

      Great company with great earning potential and bonuses for hard workers. Great technology and great minds - a wonderful learning experience. Very supportive of continued training. A certain amount of flexibility and allowances for working from home.

      Cons

      The outsourcing of IT in 2009 was handled badly from the perspective of those who lost their jobs, as well as those who remained. Executive management identified those who would be laid off without input from middle management, who had no say in who from their staff would be laid off. Some only found out the day before or day of the layoffs in 2009. The number of reorgs in IT says it all, and there are some Sr Managers and Directors who should never be allowed to talk to human beings. The number of IT senior/mid-level staff who have left NetApp over the course of the past couple of years to move to other Silicon Valley companies says it all.
