Pros

Smart, dynamic pears. Friendly environment. Easy access to education. NetApp technology can be inspirational.

Cons

Field offices neglected. Still selling 'by the box'. Immature services offerings without enough investment in growth. Every role regardless of function is seen as a sales role - too much time is spent delivering and analyzing sales with non-sales staff. Travel is too much a part of the culture. Tendency to announce initiatives and then under-support or inconsistently support them.

Pros

NetApp gives employees flextime and the ability to work from home. NetApp also has volunteer hours that you can use to take time off for volunteering.

Cons

Although the company has grown larger, the back office infrastructure investment has been lagging behind. Although this is changing in certain areas, it is still very difficult to implement process improvement (for happy customers and happy employees) due to the inflexible systems. Middle management quality is hit or miss.
