Feeding off bigger giants, more of third party vendor. But they still have stronghold of the hardware industry as far as commitment to excellence.

The review headline was from the CTO in response to valid criticism about not feeling supported or communicated with through what's been a less-than-stellar acquisition process, resulting in heavy turnover and low morale. Apparently reminding everyone that we'll be making a massive profit for the company that the average workers will only see a tiny fraction of is their idea of encouragement. Tone deaf is an understatement, but at least there's no ambiguity in being seen as a means of production and not an actual human person. You'll have maybe 5 days of actual PTO at your discretion because NetApp requires you to take PTO during their mandatory, company-wide shutdown weeks in July and December. Hope you weren't planning on living outside of work.
