Cons

I worked at Quid (Netbase Quid) for 6+ years, and honestly, it was a frustrating experience. The biggest problem was the lack of real leadership. There wasn’t much direction from the top, and priorities kept changing without any clear explanation. It often felt like we were just guessing what leadership actually wanted, which led to a lot of wasted time and confusion. On top of that, there was way too much micromanagement. Instead of trusting people to do their jobs, directors were constantly hovering over every little thing. It really killed any sense of ownership or motivation — you didn’t feel like your work mattered because someone would always second-guess it anyway. Another major issue was favoritism. If you were someone the manager already knew or was close to, you got better treatment — more chances, more understanding, and a lot more flexibility. Meanwhile, everyone else was held to different (stricter) standards. It was really demotivating to see hard work ignored just because you weren’t part of the "inner circle." Overall, there were a lot of smart, hardworking people at the company, but the culture made it really hard for them to succeed or even stay long-term. Unless leadership steps up, starts trusting their teams, and treats people fairly, I don't see things improving anytime soon.
