Pros

. Exciting market . Great culture when you make an effort to work cross-functionally . Great customers, pleasure to work with them . Strong product and product plans Give us a look and decide for yourselves. Regarding some recent negative reviews, those of us still here disagree. It's obvious to us who wrote the extremely negative reviews. These are people who were let go. We, the current employees, know why they are disgruntled. It's wrong to try to sink a ship because of personal circumstances and grievances.

Cons

Yes life is sometimes unfair. People do get let go, some related to personal performance, others circumstantial. Don't work here or anywhere else in high tech if you want guaranteed employment and no risk of a bad performance review.

Pros

Work life balance is excellent. People are generally friendly and helpful. Netbase seems to care about their employees and makes an effort towards mutual respect. Time is taken to review what works and what can be improved upon. Issues are immediately dealt with and steps are taken to maintain a safe and successful working environment. The product suite is powerful and offers excellent tools within the Social Media analytics space. Netbase can beat the competition every time under the right conditions.

Cons

Pay is somewhat on the low end. The product cost can be prohibitive for small to medium sized businesses. There is a steep learning curve for some, to become proficient in using the tools. Time needs to be invested in order to fully utilize the tool set which is not always available to the client.

Pros

Great product. Whiz-bang technology. Hard-working Product team. The Founder, who still works there, is an absolute sweetheart and will do anything to make the company successful.

Cons

Very secretive management team. CEO is arrogant and paranoid. CEO likes to talk about himself. Installed soundproof walls in a conference room so that nobody would listen in on "secret" conversations. A surprising amount of politics and hubris for a startup. Company has taken so much venture capital that your stock won't be worth much there -- so make sure you are happy with the compensation.
