Pros

Excellent product some time ago, today only a commodity. But it was a really visionary product a few years ago, unfortunately never took off due to the bad decisions of its CEO. At some point SAP offered to buy it but they did not accept the offer thinking they were worth more, now guess that, there will not be a next

Cons

Terrible non assertive c- Level leader by CEO who made fatal decisions.

Pros

Great product. Whiz-bang technology. Hard-working Product team. The Founder, who still works there, is an absolute sweetheart and will do anything to make the company successful.

Cons

Very secretive management team. CEO is arrogant and paranoid. CEO likes to talk about himself. Installed soundproof walls in a conference room so that nobody would listen in on "secret" conversations. A surprising amount of politics and hubris for a startup. Company has taken so much venture capital that your stock won't be worth much there -- so make sure you are happy with the compensation.

Pros

Fantastic product (best in the market) that's well recognized, ongoing commitment to industry leadership, fast-paced atmosphere, leadership that's committed to the success of the organization, fair compensation, open-door culture from the top to the bottom.

Cons

Many employees are remote and communication between work groups could be stronger. Benefits package is below average for this space.
