Pros

Technology is good, but others are catching up

Cons

No long term chance to be successful since CEO just fires anyone that disagrees with him. He just fired top two people in sales, including CRO because he feels he is a better sales person. The CEO is now effectively the CEO, CRO, CMO, CPO, CTO, CFO, GC, and CHRO. One leader and the rest do what he says or they are gone. Most of the top sales talent has either resigned or are actively looking.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review and we do appreciate your valuable feedback as we make improvements to our culture and organization. We are going through a serious growth trajectory now, hiring over 140 new employees in only 7 months and with this serious growth at times comes changes in organizational structure. Changes we have made we feel will take the company to the next level and now having offices in 5 countries, we are being selective with hiring due to high expansion and growth. With this growth and all of the changes our culture has sustained and this is one important key to our success. Nonetheless, this review is valuable input and we will use these comments to continue to adjust for future growth and expansion.

Pros

There isn’t any pro to work in sales here.

Where to start?? The company just decided to cut between $50K-$75K pay from every sales rep. Along with cutting pay they decided to pull many accounts from each rep to lower the total accounts each rep has to make quota. The company has decided to change from perpetual license to term and charge 3X the cost for term license. There isn’t a presidents club because they view sales reps as peasants and as the CEO puts it we’re all failures if we don’t close an account in one year. There is zero growth potential as the company never promotes from within. The company is owned and operated by two people with zero sales experience who haven’t a clue as to how to build, run, and incentivize their sales staff. Every year things change and not for the better because the CEO is stubborn and unwilling to make changes that will only positively impact the company. He won’t allow channel sales. His new sales strategy is Blue Ocean selling?? This means we have no competition in his mind. He seems to forget about solarwinds, live action, extrahop because the difference is they are all real sales ORG’s. Unless you enjoy changes every 2-5 months I suggest you look elsewhere for a job. FYI- the 8 positive reviews since Jan 1st are fake news because no one in the company has been positive since then due to the dramatic changes that have been implemented.

Thank you for the time you took to write this review. Feedback such as this is valuable as we continue to make necessary improvements to our population and culture. The changes to our sales organization is a work in progress and will take a bit of time to adjust, however, we feel it is in the best nature for the business to make necessary improvements to compensation structures which, contrary to what you are stating is actually better for our employees compensation. Also, one thing to note, every single review on our profile is a genuine review and no review is considered fake both positive and negative. With every company with as much growth as we are experiencing, there are bumps in the road and we feel this is healthy and we are surpassing our goals and targets. Nevertheless, we appreciate your comments and value your advice and wish you the best of luck with your next role.

Pros

If you are a freshly graduated student, you can learn a lot from overwhelming tasks

Cons

As a developer, be prepared to work overtime, the default off-hour is 6 pm every single day, no work from home, no work-life balance, and occasionally you have to have meetings at night with oversea coworkers. You could ask vacations but managers will try to convince you to cancel it because the work will be delayed. R&D management likes to set up unrealistic goals and change the plan every 3 months. All teams in R&D are frustrating to catch up with the changes and ship unfinished product to meet the deadline. Since the product is half-baked, more problems will occur when customers use it, then more work you need to do, it is like a dead loop.
