Having worked in many startup/small environments, I think I have a good understanding of environments that can fail and ones that can succeed. NetBrain is set up to succeed. Of course execution is key and employees have a role in that. The pros for NetBrain now are: - growing company - very good technology with an emerging need/market - addressing growing pains and building leadership team - good health benefits, better than most I've been involved in lately - a nice and pleasant environment to work in

Cons

- still working out the growing pains, but to be expected - a little slow on hiring leadership, but now that is in place

Cons

The product combined with the inside sales method will never be successful. Not state of the art, way too complex and nothing on prospects focus. Economic indicators are a nightmare. You will never make money as sales. All the good guys left.

The following are a few facts: - We have an enterprise sales methodology and it has proven to be successful to date. - Our revenue growth rate is a reflection of the quality of the product and market adoption. - Networks are becoming increasingly complex - our product needs to be robust in order to address this. - While we experienced some attrition in sales personnel - it is not extraordinary. We have quality people in sales and across all functions in the company. Our board is supportive and engaged in our business. We are not perfect and never will be. We are doing the best we can for our customers and our people.

I've been here for more than 2 years, and I am very happy to work in NetBrain. The culture over here is really collaborative. Everyone is willing to help you if you ask for it.

Cons

The company is growing really fast, so there are some growth pains here (which is common for fast-growing company).
