Pros

I have been working at NetBrain for almost two years now. The people are fantastic and the product is just what the industry needs. Great office space, friendly atmosphere, flexibility, fun, engaging and challenging.

Cons

Just need to line the ducks up in a row better, balance sales push with a solid path for each and every employee. That is getting so much better, some really good hire at the top and our HR department is starting to create a path

Pros

None that I can really think of Lunches on Fridays?

What’s there to say that hasn’t been said already? Our CEO has lost any sense of reality. He won’t listen to anyone and continues to steer the ship towards the iceberg. Sales targets are constantly changing and personal compensation worsens. Accounts we spent years to build are taken away from us without any reasoning whatsoever. There is no strategy or integrity left, just sell by any means necessary even if we know the software can’t deliver on what the customer is purchasing it for. People are leaving the company at a rapid pace. This month alone NetBrain lost their most critical engineer, a tenured director of our solutions team, and our two most senior customer success managers. I’m sure there are many many more to follow. Colleagues are constantly being let go If we can’t hit our moving targets.

Pros

Having worked in many startup/small environments, I think I have a good understanding of environments that can fail and ones that can succeed. NetBrain is set up to succeed. Of course execution is key and employees have a role in that. The pros for NetBrain now are: - growing company - very good technology with an emerging need/market - addressing growing pains and building leadership team - good health benefits, better than most I've been involved in lately - a nice and pleasant environment to work in

Cons

- still working out the growing pains, but to be expected - a little slow on hiring leadership, but now that is in place
