Pros

Nice perks like employee events, sports games, and a flight program. Pay isn't top-of-range but is pretty good. Annual performance bonus is great

Cons

Raises are small, promotions are rare, and workers who are struggle in their role are pushed by current policies to leave rather than move somewhere better within the company.

Pros

- NetJets is the leader in private aviation and takes pride in their culture of safety, which is one of their aspects that impressed me and that I loved the most - Great company culture. Their renewed office at the Easton location is modern and vast. Hackathons, company events, excellent benefits. The company lives and breathes their infamous "20/20 Flight Plan." - As a full-time employee, you have the opportunity to hop on a private ferry flight when jets are being relocated. This perk is available to employees, their family and the employee's parents. This was an amazing experience - In some IT teams, you get to work with the latest and the greatest tech stack. Some, if not most IT Teams, are moving towards replacing existing systems but this is a process that takes time - Overall I had a positive experience during my employment with the company

Cons

- Culture of complacency in some IT departments - No team ownership. IT teams have dependency on other departments. This becomes apparent if you need advanced access to AWS Cloud and other systems. This bureaucratic system only hinders progress - If you are lucky, as a software engineer, you'll be engaged with top notch teams working with the latest tech stack and on cool projects. On the other hand, a lot of teams are working with outdated technology or software that is 10+ or even 20+ years old. Some even work with technologies newer or experienced talent might not have ever worked with!
