Pros

Good exposure to different Tier 1 customers. Lots of products to learn and master. Lots of knowledge and documentation to support and share.

Cons

Communication and alignment across remote offices. Handovers and Onboarding of new employees. Lack of management focus and support for middle east offices and clients.

Pros

Opportunities to work with customers all over the world.

Cons

Every department in this company takes a back seat to Sales. Sales reps will promise anything the customer can dream up and more, then the software team is left holding the ball after they leave. Customers projects can and do last for years. It's very likely that the first project you're put on will be the only one you work on for your entire tenure.

Pros

NetCracker is in the process of developing a product that has the potential of becoming the product the company envisioned it to be. There is a strong R&D focus to grow the capabilities and features that the product offers, and it it not hard to contribute and provide ideas and requirements that will make the product more than just a framework. The nature of the business is such that allows for networking at C-level echelons of customer organizations and is well known and respected in the telecom market place. To properly sell the product, a high skill set and level of knowledge of technology is required, making NetCracker employees highly knowledgeable workers.

Cons

Management is only interested in their own agenda and net worth in the sale to NEC. There is no interest in furthering employees' careers within the company. The culture in the organization is lacking core values that make the interaction between teams and departments within a company a fun place to work. The same lack of values makes evaluations of employee performance a subjective process that is easily manipulated to discourage growth/salary increases and provides no incentives whatsoever for work well done or contributions to the company as a whole. The company is known for making promises and not delivering to them.
