I was started to work when office was just open. So no students (I think we had 1-2 junior developers).
- Absolutely no skills to pick up. Seriously. Nothing that will may do you a better developer. Even training is all about interaction with their ugly frameworks.
- Technologies used are not ancient. They are dead.
- No recognition of talent and skills.
- We were told that we are "Java developers". There is no real Java development at NetCracker
- Extensive measures for everything. We have a problem? We should work longer hours! Or throw more people on project.
- Development process is so 1970.
- Lots of routine job. Actually nothing except routine job.
- Salaries much below market
- Management done by guys in their 20s. Don't control anything. Don't know what to
do.
- Travelling is a lie. Only 2 guys made it. But we all been promised that everyone on neverending track of business trips since first day of work!
Don't ever think about being there. It's a total waste. Even if you are a student and lack of experience. For current employees - run away as fast as you can!
