Most unfriendly work environment yet

Pros

Work from home was a good thing I liked about this position. Also the other coworkers I’ve encountered were great people.

Cons

10 hour shifts with unpaid overtime, favoritism being a major factor resulting in the termination of 2 out of 3 new employees while 1 remained, supervisor did not implement proper procedures in the training of new candidates, ageism bias towards younger workers, and mockery of workers personalities in a supposed “diverse” working environment. I do not recommend this company to anyone who wishes to acquire a fulfilling and meaningful career.

Overtime is based on an employee's exemption status under the fair labor standards act, FLSA. If an employee is exempt from OT, they will not receive any pay for it. Pros

Working at a small company there is opportunity to learn about many different functions: finance, HR, operations, sales, etc. Processes are being built to operate more efficiently and cohesively. Company is poised for growth in telecom/5G market with expansion of work from home, 5G, etc.

Cons

Growth equals a lot of fast change. Communication isn't always up to par in terms of helping employees manage expectations and look toward the vision and goals. Company culture is pretty non-existent and time off benefits could be better.
