Pros

Caring, Empowering, Customer focussed, Safety conscious

Cons

Can take a while for change to come to fruition but that is understandable with a complex organisation.

Challenging but secure

Pros

Such a large organisation, and so involved with trade unions, that benefits such as maternity pay. sick pay, performance related pay etc are all protected - allowing for a sense of security. Also due it's size, there are many different career options available to you - you can have a complete career change without even leaving the organisation.

Cons

It is a company of change, and change happens a lot which means people can become fatigued with org change etc.
