Pros

- Excellent HR Policies which look after the staff - Excellent pay and this is down to the relationship between company and Trade Unions. - Staff welfare is looked after

Cons

- Network Rail has gone diversity crazy! Nearly every front line Manager is now a young girl with little to zero knowledge of frontline railway operations. Don't get me wrong, I believe in diversity but it actually is possible to go too far 'the other way'. - These young female Managers come into the company from all walks of life including from university and think that other business templates should fit into the uniqueness of railway operations and this is not the case. The frontline staff recognise this and provides the relevant feedback. These staff are then branded as 'negative' and 'lazy'. (See previous reviews from these young managers). - Senior management think they can do what they want without consequence. - Management a 'job for the boys'.
